- Background: When you order from Forever Redwood, you don’t have to figure out every detail ahead of time. If you know you want a quality product that will last, you can place an initial order with the details you think will work. Once we receive your order, one of in-house architects or engineers will be assigned to you at no additional cost. We will prepare detailed drawings of your order and we can make revisions as needed until your orders looks the way you want, has the dimensions you need and works as planned. Yes, you can customize. If you can describe it, odds are we can build it. The main point is we have you covered with a quality product and full support from design to delivery. We will not build your order until you sign off on the design drawings.
- Built to Last We are a restorative forestry company. We hand select the best, fattest timbers from our forestlands for your project. Everything is over built with real wood and steel-- we never use plastic/vinyl/ compressed glue/plywood, flimsy hardware or nails. Nothing lasts longer outdoors than California Redwood. We have over 30 years experience building, shipping and installing shade structures and shipping outdoor furniture all over the country.
- You Install or We Install?: Each order is fully built in the shop and then taken apart for shipping. We finely sand and seal and then add part numbers and create customized assembly instructions and ship with all the hardware. If you are not the DIY type and are interested in a quote for on-site assembly, let us know. We’ll ask a couple questions and get a quote to you usually within a day or two. Please see the Assembly & Care tab above for more information.
- Our White Glove Assembly is available in all 50 states. If you'd like us to do the assembly for you, we can send our installation team anywhere in the US. Just choose the White Glove Assembly option as you check out. This service includes assembly, anchoring, and details like adding flashing, curtain rods and roofing. White Glove Assembly costs anywhere between 25-45% of the cost of your structure. We are happy to provide a specific quote for you during the Design process as we finalize the details together. If you have an old structure that needs to be taken down and disposed of, let us know. We can generally add this to the scope of work.

Assembly and Care
Your Athens Tiny Home ships in panels ready to be reassembled. As with all our products, we preassemble all structures in our shop to ensure everything fits together. All hardware is included, and all parts are clearly labeled before shipping. We also include detailed step-by-step instructions.
Your home is best built on a concrete pad as the foundation. During the design phase of your order, we will clearly detail all the pad’s specifications including the placement of the conduit for your HVAC systems. It is best to pour the pad at least 30 days before assembly to allow the concrete to cure.
Electrical, plumbing, and heating will be addressed during the design process, so all the details are spelled out. Rough electrical and plumbing will be included with the structure, but the final plumbing and electrical work should be done by local licensed contractors.
Installation Help.
If you would like help with the erection of your home atop your already completed concrete pad, just let us know. We have our own team for installations in the Continental U.S. and can quote. We can do the complete erection of the home including doors, windows, interior walls, and final roofing. What we cannot do is pour the concrete pad or do the final electrical and plumbing connections. This work is best done by local contractors.
Care: You should expect your home to last many decades. The exterior is California Redwood and with a bit of resealing every few years, it will stay lovely for decades. If you’d like to keep your siding and interior wood finishes looking their best for decades please visit: Care and Finish.
